 Hi, I'm Alan Cawthon, and  I'm a Hair Artist.  Formally of Green with Envy organic hair studio in Scottsdale, I'm bringing my talents home to my neighborhood in Mesa! I've just opened my own private hair studio. It's an Organic - Green - Non-Toxic - VIP retreat for hair. Located between Las Sendas & Red Mountain Ranch in Mesa, Arizona! Alan is incredibly talented and versatile. He knows color and works well with my challenging hair type (fine and thick). His friendly and upbeat attitude is refreshing, professional, and genuine. I leave an appointment with Alan looking and feeling beautiful, fresh, & unique, rather than a cookie cutter of the person he cut before me. I highly recommend Alan to anyone in need of a great style.

Alan is by far the best person I have ever found to cut, color and relax my hair! He cuts hair to perfection, the color is always perfect and when I need a relaxer it always comes out great. I don't even have to tell him what to do because he knows what cut and color will look great on me. I love when I am going to get my hair done with him because I know I am going to laugh a lot and have a fun time. I have naturally curly long hair and he knows exactly how to cut it to help me keep it looking more straight. He is great with long hair!!

I have very long, naturally blonde, very curly hair. I've never had someone give me an excellent cut, ever--I always have to make do or try to make my own adjustments. This was by far the best haircut I have EVER received. I am 100% satistfied with it--a big thing, since I've tried so many different stylists during my 30 years. Alan spent several minutes just playing with my hair, seeing how it part, how it worked, deciding how to cut it to best compliment my face and my personality and my wishes. I would fly to him if I lived in a different state. He also gave me an incredible color--and on top of that, did a color correction from a color job gone accidentally bad with someone else. It was meticulous, the color perfectly created just for me, with every step taken to ensure my hair looked superb--I've never had a better color job, either, EVER before. It was an incredibly relaxing experience. He listens to you and caters to what you want, and also gives you honest feedback and suggestions when asked. He's brilliant--he really KNOWS hair and how to work with all types. He is a gem that so many have not yet discovered. I will recommend him to everyone I know, again and again. He looks at hair as art, and every time you visit him, he will create an artpiece.
